About Econergy

Econergy, a British Gas Company set-up in 1999, is one of the UK’s leading renewable energy and district heating companies specialising in biomass heating, ground and air source heat pumps and integrated solar thermal systems.

We have recently integrated Cool Planet, a heat pump specialist acquired by British Gas in 2011, into Econergy’s biomass and community heating operation. We work closely with our sister company BG Solar to provide our customers with a complete range of renewable and low carbon heating and cooling solutions.

Working with local authorities, end customers, architects and contractors, Econergy design and deliver solutions to meet our customer’s needs, offering the most appropriate technology and services to deliver minimum life-time cost of ownership with high levels of service.
