Wood chip boilers or wood pellet boilers are typically the lowest cost heating solution to deliver carbon savings to meet Carbon Reduction Commitments (CRCs) and deliver fuel cost savings compared to oil, LPG and (at times) mains gas. Biomass heating is particularly attractive solution for existing or new build hospitals and care homes due to their high heating and hot water demands.
